Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez (born 2 September 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actor and film producer. Her career began in Mexico and she appeared in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) that earned her an Ariel Award nomination. With roles in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) and Dogma (1999), she quickly made her mark as a leading actress in Hollywood. Hayek's character as Frida Kahlo painter in Frida (2002), a biographical feature she co-produced that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. The actress also earned her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek appeared in the action-packed Once Upon a Time in Mexico films over the next years and focused more on making films.
