Alex Flanagan

She earned her degree from her school, the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She anchors and reports for NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a sideline journalist in Football Night in America and the home games in Notre Dame football. Flanagan can be seen and heard on Madden 10 and the Madden 10 or Madden 11 videos, in which she hosts a weekly recap of the game show with Fran Charles. Alex is from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. The couple has two daughters and one son. Alex's father is the owner of two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career with KVOA-TV while a college student and anchoring news. In 1998, she began covering sports. Flanagan has been with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. She was also an active Gamma Phi Beta member.
